To be effective, internal audit needs to have influence. And internal audit can build influence by having the right structures and systems in place. This course provides an overview of these structures and systems.

What will I learn?
After completing this course, you will be able to:
- define influence,
- discuss why influence is important for internal audit functions, and
- suggest ways to create an influential internal audit function.
What will I do?
The course comprises narrated learning material and a quiz. You will be recorded as having completed the course when you have worked through the material and reached a minimum grade of 80% on the quiz. You will be able to download the course summary when you’ve completed these requirements. We will email your certificate of completion, which details the CPE points.
You have 90 days to complete the course; however, it shouldn’t take you more than an hour to do.
Technical requirements
The course is wholly online so you will need access to an internet-enabled device. The learning material is narrated so you will need access to headphones or speakers.
