Ethics and culture

12 February | Bristol

Internal auditors need to keep pace with an ever-changing environment to provide effective assurance to our organisations on current issues in governance, risk and control.

In recent years, the general public, media, regulators and governments have expressed concern with the way in which organisations across every sector are being governed and managed. Culture, ethics, values and behaviour are under the microscope like never before. And quite rightly so.

Internal auditors are increasingly having to provide objective assurance, advice and insight in these areas. Internal audit practices for auditing culture and ethics are evolving and are sometimes very different to those we have employed for our more traditional engagements. The second line is also having to respond.

This event delves into a number of cultural and ethical hot topics in internal audit and organisational governance, risk management and control. It will highlight challenges and provide you with ideas and good practices that will help you support your organisation manage the associated challenges.
