The CCMS is an online tool that will manage all of your certification activity for the CIA, QIAL and any other IIA certification programme. This includes registering on a programme and applying to sit exams.
You are strongly recommended to read IIA Global's certification candidate handbook before registering on CCMS. This contains important information about the terms and conditions of the programme as well as more detailed guidance about using CCMS.
However, these are the key steps. We recommend printing this page so you can follow the steps on screen.
If you have never used the CCMS before you must first create a profile by clicking the 'First time user' link. Then, follow these steps to create your profile:
Once activated you will be able to access the application forms.
Whatever you wish to do, you will most likely find an application form in the 'Complete a form' section. Select the form for the certification you are applying for.
When you submit the form the system will calculate any payment due. If you do not think the price quoted is correct do not proceed. Instead, save the form for later and log an incident in the CCMS system or contact us here in the UK office.
If the price is correct, proceed to payment. Paying by credit card means that your application will be dealt with within a few days. If you pay by bank transfer it may take several weeks for your application to be reviewed.
Once your application has been reviewed you will receive an email from the IIA Global certification team asking for any required documents. This could be educational certificates, photo ID (passport or driving licence), a character reference or letter of endorsement. It depends on the programme you have registered for.
If you don't receive an email from IIA Global please contact studentsupport@iia.org.uk
Once your application has been fully approved you can then register for an exam. Use the 'Complete a form' link in the CCMS and select the appropriate form for the exam of your choice.
