The Chartered IIA is a membership organisation: we are here to support and represent our members. The more actively you are involved, the better we will do that. Being a volunteer is a great way to help shape the institute and get the most out of your membership.
Most new volunteers start by working with their local region. Contact the regional chair to find out how you can get involved.
Or, why not contact our Technical team at technical@iia.org.uk to see if you can help them out in offering advice to other members?
You could stand for election on our Council. Elections take place once a year, usually in summer.
For questions about volunteering, contact secretary@iia.org.uk or telephone Kim Reed on 020 7819 1940.
We respect the work our volunteers do and offer various awards to recognise their contributions – both to the Institute and the profession. These include the Special award and the JJ Morris Distinguished Service award.
Keen to join us as volunteer? We’re always on the lookout for talented individuals, so, if you think you’ve got what it takes, get in touch!
As a volunteer, we aim to support you in your role by keeping you up to date with the Institute’s key activities. This we achieve by providing you with a variety of news stories, reports and other resources, including a dedicated monthly newsletter, sent to you via email.
