Professional experience journals

The professional experience journal (PEJ) records your experience of a range of audit assignments and your professional development.

Your PEJ should be submitted to us for assessment once you have completed your exams – but don’t leave it until then to start writing the journal. Ideally, you should begin your PEJ as soon as you start studying. It will be much easier to complete it that way.

How to submit your PEJ

Please scan and email your completed PEJ to studentsupport@iia.org.uk

An assessment fee of £100 +VAT applies to the Chartered Internal Auditor PEJ. We will raise an invoice upon receipt of your Journal, so when you submit your Journal please let us know if we should invoice you or your employer. If your employer is paying the assessment fee please include an official Purchase Order with your journal submission.

PEJ assessment usually takes four weeks.

Students of the IIA Diploma and IIA Advanced Diploma
